- end 1994-present. Consultant with Infopoint Systems, Richardson TX.
- 1985-end 1994. Various consulting assignments in France, under the auspices of Monies Inc., Shulter Professional Services, Natural Intelligence, and Infopoint Systems.
- 1983-1985. Comp-Data Service, Director of Systems Software Development.
- 1974-1983. Datapoint Corporation, Advanced Product Development, R&D. I quickly was put in charge of development of the company's Disk Operating System, and subsequently developed products including their multi-partition, virtual-machine partition supervisor, print unspooler, and local area network systems (the Datapoint ARC System, which was the world's first commercially successful local area network).
- 1972-1974. University of Illinois, various student and graduate assistant positions for the Commerce and Computer Science departments.
- 1969, 1970. summer jobs as an electrician in a locomotive factory (!).
